Job Summary: Conduct monthly billing Learn customers by name, greet and interact regularly with members Answer general questions about equipment and answer phone calls Evaluate new membership applications Check in members upon entering facility Monitor daily membership activity Provide an atmosphere of kind, courteous, friendly, and helpful support to members Schedule assessments, orientate new members on facility and equipment Collect account payments and data processing Clean restrooms and fitness area Clean and maintain equipment All other duties as assigned by department head or supervisor.
Performance Expectations: Tolerates physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy weights and spotting members while lifting.
Trains members on appropriate and safe utilization of the exercise equipment.
Qualifications: Education/Skills High School diploma or GED, required.
Work Experience: One year of work experience in a fitness center, preferred.
Additional Certification/Licensure - Obtained based on required timeframe below Basic Life Support Within 30 Days of Employment Required
