```Duties```
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and other financial transactions
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
```Qualifications```
- Preferred not required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, GAAP, and double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficient in financial management software and accounting systems (Quickbooks, ADP, Advanced Excel Skills)
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
