Operations Manager

Description: The Operations Manager ensures the functions assigned on the Warehouse floor are operating at a level that achieves key performance expectations set forth by Senior Leadership.
The Operations Manager must engage, develop and lead their direct reports to run their daily operations in accordance with achieving daily key performance expectations.
The Operations Manager must ensure that their direct reports are being held accountable for lack of execution of achieving key performance expectations in accordance with company HR policy guidelines.

Responsibilities include: Providing strong leadership and mentoring to the warehouse Supervisors and team members Assisting in development and implementation of warehousing, inventory control and shipping strategies Managing and overseeing the day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure efficiency Must meet weekly with their GM/HR Manager to ensure proper staffing is met Coaching team members and providing accountability to team members not meeting expectations Updating and refining Operations processes, policies and procedures.
Develop procedures to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility Creation of Quality Control measurements to ensure accuracy of processed merchandise.
Monitoring space layout plan to ensure all space is used efficiently.
Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of both internal and external reports.
Requirements: 5 plus years of demonstrable senior warehouse, inventory control, production, and shipping/receiving experience.
Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills Must have ability to be objective with all team members to ensure consistency in practices, policies and procedures Work Hours Full Time position Second Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm Routinely work near moving mechanical parts such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar mechanical devices Working in moderate to loud noise levels Pre-employment background check required (unless internal promotion).
