Dictation Nurse
Mississippi State Hospital will accept resumes until 12pm, March 6, 2024, for the purpose of hiring up to six (6) contract registered nurses to provide medical dictation services.
Duties include, but are not limited to, dictating and editing patient information for discharge summaries, transfer summaries and consultations.
Minimum qualifications: Graduation from a school of nursing accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); a current, unrestricted nursing license in the State of Mississippi; and one (1) year of nursing experience.
The applicant must submit at least three (3) references from peers/supervisors with current knowledge of applicant’s clinical practice.
The contract employee will work 20-40 hours a week at $30/hr and will begin on or around July 1, 2024 and end June 30, 2025.
