Licensed Practical Nurse assists the provider regarding patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Formal training which requires a graduation certificate from an accredited LVN/LPN program; current State license and current CPR certification; Personal skills include a willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; the ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to work compatibly with physicians, other department members, and Clinic employees in other departments.
Physical guidelines include ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patients in arising from exam table, push wheelchair patients, and assist patients in arising from and returning to wheelchair.
