Certified Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist - Perform medication inventory management tasks, including ordering and restocking supplies - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information - Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration and patient safety - Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of acute care practices to accurately communicate with healthcare team members - Follow aseptic technique guidelines when handling medications and preparing sterile products Experience: - Must be a certified pharmacy technician with a valid license - Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred, but not required -Experience with Pioneer RX Pharmacy Software preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of pharmacy operations - Proficient in medication administration techniques, including inhalation methods - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail setting, providing vital support to the pharmacy team.
