Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent .
Certification by a nationally recognized body.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
Must have experience using vacutainers and butterfly needles.
Four days per week and every other weekend.
