Manages and oversees the medical record function.
Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and security of all healthcare information.
Ensures all the healthcare information management processes and practices compliance with applicable regulations and policies of JCAHO and state standards.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Reports to the HIM Director.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prefer bachelor's degree, RHIT certification or eligible, and at least 5-7 years of experience in the field.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
