*Job Summary:*
The Registered Nurse will provide and/or supervise skilled nursing service in the home in accordance with the physician's orders.
The RN makes the initial evaluation visit, regularly re-evaluates the patient's nursing needs, initiates the plan of treatment and necessary revisions, provides those services requiring substantial specialized nursing skill, initiates appropriate and rehabilitative nursing procedures, prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, informs the physician and other personnel in changes in the patient's condition, counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs, participates in in-service education programs in accordance with the State Board of Nursing requirements for licensure.
*Qualifications:*
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current registration with the State Board of Examiners without restriction.
* Must have at least one (1) year nursing experience in a supervised setting.
* One (1) year experience in home health, preferred.
* Must posses a thorough knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, alertness and skill in recognizing and identifying symptoms, ability to work congenially with others and under supervision.
* Must be dependable, sound judgment and a leader.
* Must have excellent oral & written communication skills.
* Must be proficient with a computer and/or tablet.
