com The Big Boney Brass Bling musical washboard model starts with a Full Size Brass King washboard made by National Washboard Company.
This washboard was painstakingly refurbished to bring the brass back to life.
The process of sanding, gluing, staining and polishing takes several hours in itself.
It's a ton of work! This model has brass side rails, a brass washboard surface, an oak plywood faceplate with the Boney Fingers Washboard logo burned in, a Meinl 10" cymbal mounted, and brass eyelet screws to mount the neck strap.
It also has the National Washboard original print on the back of the faceplate and a vintage look on the back.
Why Side Rails? Because playing the side rails with brushes eventually will wear the wooden sides of the washboard frame.
The side rails protect the wood, ensuring your frame will last longer.
