The primary goals of the Caregiver Supervisor/Coordinator are to recruit, screen, train, retain quality and the appropriate quantity of caregivers so that the agency can provide the highest level of customer service in accordance with company standards.
This position will also assist as needed with functions essential to the proper management of caregivers and client care.
Works under the direction of the Operations and Office Manager.
*Primary Responsibilities:* -Develops and follows a clear and defined process of recruiting, screening, training and retaining quality caregivers.
-Ensures appropriate caregiver staff to cover existing and new cases as they come in -Performs 24x7 on-call coordinator duties as needed -Adhere to company policies and procedures and state requirements -Learn and help maintain contact management or scheduling software -Supervisory visits in client homes -Assist with client satisfaction surveys -Direct caregivers to clients' locations and perform needed introductions -Emergency care as needed in the field -Assist with caregiver training and evaluations *DUTIES:* -Assist with office operations as needed -Answer telephone, directs calls and take messages using good telephone technique -Serve as office contact in absence of other staff -Greet and assist everyone who comes into the office in a professional and courteous manner -Assist Ofiice Manager in appropriate staffing of cases when needed -Perform clerical duties such as making copies, sending facsimiles, assembling manuals, mailing materials.
-Perform other duties as assigned *KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:* -Ability to clearly communicate with prospective and active caregivers via telephone, email, and in person.
-Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment, while following standards and guidelines.
-Caring phone voice.
-Demonstrate excellent perceptive listening skills, recording information in written format.
-Ability to learn new contact management or scheduling software used in the course of regular duties.
-Read, write, clearly speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
-Good organizational skills and ability to properly prioritize and multi-task.
-Knowledge of common medical terminology a plus *EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / AVAILABILITY:* -High school diploma or equivalent -Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant license -One year experience in office setting -Experience and past success in leadership role -Inside sales experience using consultative techniques preferred.
-Available Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and 24x7 for scheduled rotation of on-call duties.
*WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT:* -Primarily works in office and client homes but will be asked to help with on-location events.
*NOTES / SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:* -May be called upon to perform additional tasks essential to company expansion and growth as required by supervisor.
-Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $11.
